What we are learning this term

We have a busy year ahead, and this half term kick starts with our ‘Why can’t penguins fly?’ Topic and it is about Antarica. The children will explore different types of texts linking to this topic during their English lessons. Through this topic the children will learn about the continents and oceans of the world. In science, Poppy class will be learning about food chains and how animals are adapted to live on this cold continent. As historians, the children will learn about explorers who have visited Antarctica. We will also explore different art linking to our topic.
In R.E we will explore the gospel and the life of Jesus.
