PE & Sports Premium
Every year, our school receives the government’s PE and Sports Premium. This funding is specifically designated to improve the quality of physical education and sports opportunities for all of our pupils.
This is how we have invested this funding this year to keep our children active, healthy, and engaged:
- Upskilling Our Staff: We brought in qualified sports coaches to work directly alongside our teachers during PE lessons. This ensures our team delivers top-tier physical education. We’ve also invested in training and high-quality resources to keep our PE curriculum fresh and exciting.
- Competitions: We have been involved in sports competitions and activities with local schools, giving our pupils the chance to experience team spirit, friendly rivalry, and sportsmanship.
- Active Playtimes: We have enhanced our school playgrounds and introduced new initiatives to significantly improve physical activity during breaktimes and lunchtimes.
- Extra-Curricular: We believe every child should have the chance to find a sport they love. We offer a variety of after-school sports clubs.
Our Goal: We are committed to using this funding to build a lasting legacy of health, wellbeing, and a lifelong love for physical activity in every child at our school.
